Paul Michael Trugman

I started playing the guitar at 10 years old. I started writing songs at 13. Founded critically acclaimed Helmet Boy in 1980. Signed to Electra/Asylum. New Wave/Pop Rock. Managed by Freddie DeMann(Michael Jackson, Madonna, Maverick Records etc.) Good stuff. Still stands up. Google it! Been a long and winding road, but I'm still inspired and producing lots of music. Little Yellow Penguin has done very well. Revolve has been streamed over 1/2 million times and continues to get a lot of play and attention. I play acoustic, solo now at local venues in Northern CA. I have 4 cd's at all the usual places, Amazon, iTunes etc. One with my previous band, Invisible Eddie(Very Obviously), one solo, Slow Rider, and one with my previous band Paul Trugman and the Strawmen(Get in Line). My new cd, Fade to blue, is available now and I am currently working on a new cd. Click on the Music tab for most current songs. I play mostly originals at gigs, but throw in some covers that can be heard below as well.
